i genuinely thought i was going to fail miserably yesterday.
one of the models didn't make the shoot, which wasn't a major problem, but make-up and styling ended up bringing us to 1pm, and considering it was already overcast, that definately wasn't a good thing.
it was 10 degrees C all day, and come 3.30pm it was chucking it down with rain and the wind was picking up.
in a nutshell, the models did a fantastic job to work in such trying conditions, and i officially hate working in winter!
i should have my 5D by next weekend, which is a big sigh of relief relief on my part, as it will be the first time i've ever done two full-day shoots in two days, so i'm glad i'll have the confidence in my camera to push me through.
i'm now going to make a cup of tea and rest my eyes. |

yesterday was both an absolute disaster, and a success.
i woke up at 5am to travel to buckinghamshire for my shoot, and 20 minutes into our drive, the car broke down.
the model and MUA (bless their hearts) had accidently put their clocks back by two hours, so they were running an hour late also.
i ended up in a service station from 5.30am to 9am, which is when we finally managed to get a lift back to where we live. heidi and kate ended up coming to me, and we did manage to get some good photos, but only by the skin of our teeth.
it rained all day, the weather was honestly relentless, but come 5pm, the sun suddenly came out, so we ran to the cars and stopped at the nearest field in the hope to catch it before it dissapeared behind the trees, and im happy to say we did!
the collection isn't extensive, but i'm happy with the results.
next weekend is my biggest project yet.
i'll be working with 5 models and two MUA's on a fashion shoot with an Aston Martin DB9, and i'm really excited.
i'm hopefully going to get permission to shoot at a historical house i'm in love with, but we'll see how that pans out.

i'm far too tired to write anything remotely interesting about this shoot.
i've been retouching, and battling a bloody trojan virus since yesterday, and i just want a hot cup of tea and a good film to come on TV.
let me know what you think of this series.
the top two are obviously unrelated, but i've got my shoot with janice morrison (an african-chic clothing designer) coming up on the 9th Nov so i needed to push myself to create some more high-fashion images.
